Is RYL Moor Mud safe for children?

 

Yes it is. Children who are running a temperature should avoid mud bath until they are feeling better, then use the mud as a recovery and rejuvenation. Moor mud relieves pain and itchiness from skin conditions.

 

From ages 3 to 12 use half a 250 ml mud pack in a bath regularly.

 

What are humic and fulvic acids and what do they do to assist in skin & body health?

 

There is much study being done on these acids and have been called the missing link to anti-ageing.

Humic and fulvic acids are found only in certain areas in nature. Yay! We found them in our mud.

 

Humic acid, by definition, is a fraction of humic substances composed of a long chain molecule, which is high in molecular weight, dark brown in colour and soluble in an alkaline solution. Little is known about this amazing molecular complex but what is known is that humic acid depending on the need for balance in whatever situation, can behave as both a donor and or acceptor of electrons.

 

What this means is that they bind to both positive and negatively charged ions making it the most powerful free-radical scavenger and natural anti-oxidant known. Fulvic acid studies show that humic, and especially fulvic acids are present in waters from streams and rivers running through forested land. Humic and fulvic acids occur in living plants grown in organic humus containing soils, which have been isolated from live plants.

Humic and fulvic acids have been found in the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals and are absorbed. They circulate with the blood and are metabolized in the liver. Fulvic acids, work on the level of the cell Nucleus specifically by protecting the mitochondria and increasing cellular metabolism and cell division.

 

These little diamond acids recapture the radicals, and then reload the antioxidant defensive mechanism. Study results from in-vitro  concluded, humic acids from a natural source showed potential of the substances, promising immunity enhancing agents giving health and wellness benefits.
