Ingredients: Bohemian Black found in Western Bohemia contains 40% Kaolinite, 35% Illite, 16% Organic matter.
Clays such as Kaolinite and Illite have been used by mankind as a part of natural medicine for tens of thousands of year. Today the art of healing from Nature's Earth is formally known as Pelotherapy.
Healing clays are used around the world in hydrotherapy, balneotherapy, natural medicine and alternative medicine. Bohemian Black is very unique and different from other clays because it contains humic & fulvic acids and that makes it highly suitable for detox body wraps.
DIRECTIONS FOR FACIAL
Mix one teaspoon of clay with one tablespoon of filtered water to make a smooth paste. If mixture is too thin, add more clay, if too thick, add more water. You may also like to add a small amount of your favourite carrier oil such as olive, jojoba, almond, apricot, our personal favourite is coconut oil.
Apply a medium layer to the face and upper part of the neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on to dry preferably 20 - 25 minutes to allow full absorption of minerals and extraction of any impurities. Remove the mask first by gently rubbing in circular motion with water for an overall exfoliation. Wash off any excess clay with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.
Apply a small amount of carrier oil of choice on your skin to finish off the treatment.
